GEC provided geotechnical engineering and foundation design recommendations for the 428,000 sf Orlando International Airside Two Terminal building designed by HOK Architects. Referred to as the North Terminal Complex, Airside Two became operational in 2000. Airside Two currently serves Southwest Airlines, the airport’s largest carrier. Orlando International is the 13th-busiest airport in the country.
