OSCEOLA COUNTY JUDGE FARMS HIGH TECH SITE DEVELOPMENT

GEC is providing geotechnical engineering services to Osceola County for the site development of Judge Farm as a center for high-technology industry facilities. The centerpiece of the development will be the Florida Advanced Manufacturing Research Center (FAMRC).  FAMRC, scheduled for completion in 2016, will be a 100,000 sf two-story state of the art R&D laboratory located across US 192 from Osceola Heritage Park.  The project will focus on smart sensor manufacturing with special emphasis on emerging technology.  FAMRC is a partnership between Osceola County, UCF, Enterprise Florida, Orlando EDC, and the State University System of Florida.
