I-4 ULTIMATE LANES
Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study and Preliminary Design

GEC provided geotechnical engineering and environmental contamination consulting services during the planning and preliminary design phases for the I-4 Ultimate Lanes project from Kirkman Road to SR 434.   GEC served as Geotechnical Engineer of Record on five of the six I-4 Ultimate Lanes Preliminary Design segments in Orange and Seminole Counties.

The next phase of the I-4 Ultimate Lanes project is advancing in the form of a $2.1 billion, 21-mile Public Private Partnership (P3) project, one of the largest of its kind in the country. The design will require the construction of 140 new and widened bridges.
