CITRUS BOWL
ORLANDO, FLORIDA

GEC provided the HNTB team with the geotechnical engineering and ground penetrating radar for the $159 million renovation of the Citrus Bowl.  The Citrus Bowl is the third piece of the 2007 Community Venues project, the largest public building venture in our community history.

The reconstruction project is the newest large stadium to be built in Florida. With the December, 2014 completion and ribbon cutting, the project represents a 90% rebuilding of the stadium with brand new construction.

Stadium reconstruction highlights include:

65,000 + seating capacity
A brand new lower bowl with seating featuring six more inches of leg room
A 10,000 square foot party deck
1,000 suite seats
